About Boone Empowerment

What is Empowement?

Empowerment is an effort to create a partnership between communities and state government with an emphasis to improve the well being and quality of life for children ages 0-5 and their families.

What Results Do We Want To Achieve?

Comprehensive Services and Supports

School Ready Funds provide comprehensive services for children ages birth through five (low income families to access preschool, parent support, family home visitation, parent education, and professional development for early care, health, & education practitioners)

Early Childhood Funds enhance the quality and capacity of child care (recruitment of providers, child care for mildly ill children & second or third shift, infant care, training of quality for center & home based providers, and support for registration & licensure)
